  • Developed in partnership with BBSPA Group, this spa combines innovation, design, wellbeing, and operational excellence to create a commercially successful and emotionally engaging wellness destination.
  • Role Purpose
  • The Spa & Wellness Manager will oversee the successful launch and day-to-day operation of the Bath House & Spa.
  • This leadership role combines operational management, treatment and wellbeing oversight, team leadership, guest experience excellence, and commercial performance.
  • The successful candidate will lead all spa, thermal bathing, wellness, fitness, and treatment operations while creating a positive culture aligned with BBSPA Group’s values.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the spa, wellness, fitness, and therapy teams through hands-on leadership and coaching.
  • Oversee all daily spa, bath house, wellness, and guest journey operations.
  • Ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and operational readiness across all facilities.
  • Manage therapist standards, treatment quality, SOPs, and wellbeing programming.
  • Develop innovative wellness rituals, thermal experiences, and guest activations unique to atera.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and maintain luxury hospitality standards.
  • Support achievement of financial targets, payroll management, retail performance, scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing wellness team.
  • Deliver regular training, treatment reviews, and performance coaching.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, professionalism, and wellbeing.
  • Lead team meetings and communicate operational objectives clearly and effectively.
  • Guest Experience & Wellness
  • Create authentic, personalised, and memorable guest experiences.
  • Ensure all wellness journeys reflect the spa philosophy and BBSPA standards.
  • Support VIP guests, special events, wellness retreats, and group experiences.
  • Commercial & Operational Performance
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning.
  • Analyse KPIs, treatment performance, retail sales, and membership opportunities.
  • Manage stock control, purchasing, scheduling, and labour efficiency.
  • Ensure all health & safety, hygiene, and company compliance standards are maintained.
  • Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior spa, wellness, or hospitality management role.
  • Experience within luxury spa, bath house, wellness destination, or premium hospitality environments.
  • Qualified therapist or wellness professional preferred.
  • Strong operational leadership and team development experience.
  • Commercially aware with strong financial and organisational skills.
